Espinoza pleads not guilty to fraud charges

Greenville – A tentative trial date has been set for June 6 in the case of a Hunt County man, facing a dozen indictments for fraud and forgery.

29-year-old Edgar Guadalupe Espinoza, of Greenville, is one of nine people alleged to been have involved in a conspiracy to steal and use the identification information of 47 people.

Espinoza pleaded not guilty to all twelve charges during a hearing Wednesday.

The suspects are said to have used the names, social security numbers, dates of birth and checking account numbers of others to purchase items and cash forged checks at more than a dozen businesses last year.
