Sulphur Springs – A Pennsylvania woman, originally charged with theft in connection to a Hopkins County man's death, is now the second suspect charged in the alleged murder.
The capital murder charge was levied Friday against 49-year-old Sarilu Mettlen. She was originally arrested after evidence indicated she pawned property stolen from 61-year-old Bobby Riley's home, located in the Mahoney Community.
43-year-old Brian Allen Tucker, of Mesquite, was the first suspect charged in Riley's death.
Tucker, along with Mettlen, remained in jail as of Saturday. Investigators believe the two killed Riley back in late April during the course of a robbery.
