Sulphur Springs – The February stabbing death of a Sulphur Springs' man has led to the formal indictment of another local resident. The charge against 50-year-old Roy Dean Duffey was handed down late last week.
Duffey is alleged to have stabbed to death David Harrison Cooper in the 400 block of Lamar Street. Police had stated the two men had been involved in an ongoing feud that escalated.
Duffey was located at his residence soon after the stabbing, where officers also found the knife they believe was used to kill Cooper.
