Animal shelter to offer free cats during July
By Scott Harvey
Wolfe City – Beginning Friday and running through the entire month of July, the Frank Barchard Memorial Animal Shelter in Wolfe City is waiving their adoption fee on all cats.
The move is part of a nationwide push to offer fully vetted cats to the public at no expense, and to reduce the number of euthanasia in local city and county shelters.
Interested persons can stop by the shelter, or come by PetSense in Greenville or Sulphur Springs on Saturdays. You can also arrange to visit the shelter or have a cat/kitten brought to the store.
The Frank Barchard Memorial Animal Shelter is a volunteer driven and non-profit, no-kill shelter serving Northeast Texas. Learn more by calling 903-496-2412.
