Children's Museum to host Holiday Market

Commerce – Northeast Texas Children's Museum has announced plans for its Saturday, October 15 transformation into a market for a holiday gift sale.

As a fundraiser for the Children's Museum, fees from booth space and tickets for entry will benefit the museum. Vendor applications are now available at www.netxcm.com and should be completed and returned to the Museum by July 15.

A vendor jury will evaluate the applications to provide both quality and variety for the event. Areas have been marked for up to 39 booths for this inaugural event.

"We're excited to bring a variety of quality vendors to the area," said Jalinna Jones, chairperson of the event. "We feel that the wide-range of merchandise will not only be good for each vendor but also for our shoppers."

"We're excited about what the Northeast Texas Children's Museum provides for children in northeast Texas and we must continue to explore ways to provide financial support for our programs," stated Sharline Freeman, Museum Executive Director. "The Market at the Museum will benefit the museum's programs and also provide a service to vendors and shoppers in the area."

Market in the Museum will be open to the public on Saturday, October 15 from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM. For additional information concerning the event, call the Northeast Texas Children's Museum at 903-886-6055.
