Hundreds of acres burn in Thursday wildfire

Miller Grove – No injuries or property damage were reported from a wildfire Thursday afternoon in Hopkins County that burned some 230 acres near Miller Grove.

Firefighters from numerous fire departments battled the blaze for about three and a half hours. It was not immediately clear what caused the blaze.

One firefighter was transported to Hopkins County Memorial where he was treated and released for heat related injuries.
