Greenville – The dispute between the City of Greenville and L-3 will not be resolved until this fall at the earliest.

Both sides recently agreed on a schedule extending the temporary restraining order against the city concerning the proposed re-plat of Majors Field Municipal Airport until October.

An August 9 hearing will determine a number of motions filed by the two entities. Judge Richard A. Beacom is evaluating whether his court has jurisdiction in the case or if is not considered a municipal matter, among other items.

The proposed re-plat of the airport would divide what is currently one tract into four.
