A week's worth of pledge drive in just one day

88.9 KETR's Summer 2022 One-Day Pledge Drive happens all day Thursday, June 2, 2022.

KETR provides Northeast Texas with local, statewide, national, and international news each and every day through our own original reporting as well as partnerships with The Texas Newsroom, NPR, and others. Our weekdays also include an exploration of Texas songwriters, performers, and music with a Texas connection.

Each fall, we put forth the effort and the time to bring you the very best sports programming we can produce highlighting Texas A&M University-Commerce Lions Football and Basketball as well as Commerce Tigers Football, which has recently gained a video component as well.

We also interrupt our programming whenever signs point to the possibility of large hail or tornadoes in Northeast Texas in an effort to keep this region safe.

88.9 KETR exists to serve Northeast Texas and the station staff are proud to carry out the mission each and every day.

Our largest and most reliable source of revenue - the funds we use to operate the station - are listeners and audience members just like you. Folks who appreciate that we're here for them and for their friends and neighbors, and who want to keep this operation moving. Please give right now to support 88.9 KETR during our one-day drive.

The station has some very big upgrades in the pipeline right now. A new antenna has been identified and ordered to replace the aging one atop the tower in Commerce. This upgrade will pave the way for a more modern transmitter that will allow listeners to avail themselves of the digital broadcast capabilities of their modern vehicle and home stereos as well as to make available additional channels of audio (read: new broadcast radio station signals) in Commerce and beyond.

To get to where the station is going, it needs your support. Again, we're asking for your help with a donation in any amount right now. First-time donors generally give $10, $20, or $50 per month, but a one-time gift on this day would certainly be appropriate.

Please give now, give generously, and thank you!
