Iran Denies U.S. Claim That It Attacked Tankers In Gulf Of Oman

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has rejected the U.S. accusations, tweeting that the Trump administration "immediately jumped to make allegations against Iran [without] a shred of factual or circumstantial evidence." Commerce – The A&M-Commerce summer musical Smoke on the Mountain opens tonight. Gospel lyrics set to bluegrass tunes provide entertainment for the whole family in the musical set in the town of Mount Pleasant, North Carolina in 1938 during the first ever Saturday Night Sing for the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church.

The show starts at 8pm tonight through Saturday with a 3pm matinee Sunday, and also runs next Thursday through Saturday with the final performance at 3pm Sunday, July 16th.

Commerce – Commerce Police received a report of a decomposed body in a field over the weekend. The call came in around 5pm Saturday of a body in a field near the intersection of Church and Chestnut Streets in Commerce. The body was badly decomposed and was not identifiable, other than to be identified as female.

Hunt County – An additional felony charge has been added to a man in connection with illegal dumping in South Hunt County. 33 year old Dustin Willcutts was charged in May with dumping construction debris on his property near Poetry. Willcutts first appeared in court and was charged $500 for creating a public nuisance and was then served with a search warrant and an arrest warrant on commercial dumping charges.

Commerce – The City of Commerce will be cracking down on fireworks inside the city limits this year. Setting off fireworks is and has been illegal inside Commerce City limits, but enforcement has traditionally been lax in most cases, according to Commerce City Manager Bill Shipp.

SHIPP: We have not always in the past enforced that strictly. But this year, we are going to enforce it strictly, and we must enforce it strictly. Especially given the dry conditions that exist around the county.
