GREENVILLE - The Greenville ISD is currently featured in the Texas School Business’ Fifth Annual Bragging Rights special issue for 2011-2012.
The publication was sent to subscribers and public education stakeholders and posted online December 1.
GISD is being recognized for its widespread implementation of Product Oriented Education and all of the programs, classes and curriculums utilized that uphold this methodology. Product Orientation Education is an instruction model designed to engage students involved in the learning process as producers of knowledge, not merely consumers.
This annual publication by Texas School Business recognizes school districts with programs that are bettering the lives of students, schools and communities.
