Lafayette, LA - Louisiana authorities have arrested a Hopkins County man for allegedly killing his brother during a domestic dispute.
The Associated Press reports it is unclear what sparked the shooting that led to the death of 61-year-old Michael Granstaff, of Lafayette. The victim was found Thursday when local police arrived at the residence.
His brother, 53-year-old Danny Granstaff, of Sulphur Springs, apparently shot himself in the leg and was listed in serious condition. Danny will be charged with second-degree murder when he’s released from the hospital.
