Cooper High School students will see a new face in the hallways beginning in the fall as Keith Cook will be taking the helm as the new principal for the first time.
Cooper Independent School District Superintendent Denicia Hohenberger said this area of leadership is of the utmost importance and they have worked to find the very best fit for their campus.
Cook has 20 years of experience teaching high school and junior high as well as coaching and directing athletic programs. He has a Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Texas A&M University in mathematics and kinesiology. Most recently he has been an Algebra teacher and coach at Sulphur Springs ISD.
The District plans on welcoming him to the community possibly during the back-to-school activities.
