Homeless Coalition Studying Homelessness In Hunt County

Frances Dalbey, the executive director of the Hunt County United Way, says the Homeless Coalition recently conducted a survey of homelessness in Greenville, and determined about 100 people are homeless in the city.  The Homeless Coalition is an organization involving the Salvation Army and churches.  The coalition hopes to get federal funds for a larger shelter than what is currently available with the Salvation Army.
