NE Texas Water Systems Get TWDB Money

The Texas Water Development Board Monday announced more than $3 million in loans for drinking water system improvement to two areas of Northeast Texas.

A little more than $2.8million will go to Ladonia; another $200,000 will go to the Lake Texoma VFW Post 7873 in Grayson County. The funds for Ladonia feature $300,000 in loan forgiveness.

The money comes from the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund. Two weeks ago the TWDB made more than $16 million available to Princeton in Collin County from the same fund.
