The Collin County Sheriff’s Office says the two people involved in a murder-suicide in Lucas were a father and daughter.
The father, 58-year-old Donald Zriny, is also a former Lucas City Councilman. In a statement, the Sheriff’s Office said Zriny strangled his 26-year-old daughter Amanda and then hanged himself. No motive known yet for the crime.
Zriny served on the Lucas City Council from 2005 to 2012
