'Ocean's 8:' This Time It's Debbie Ocean, Not Danny

Ocean's 8, Facebook

Alice Reese, Herald-Banner movie critic, says "Ocean's 8," the latest in the series of heist films, stars an all-female cast, with Sandra Bullock as Debbie Ocean, sister of Danny Ocean, played by George Clooney in the recent "Ocean's" films (and by Frank Sinatra in the orginal).  Alice says the cast, also including Cate Blanchett and Anne Hathaway is dressed in haute couture, but otherwise it's another entertaining "Ocean's" movie.  Alice notes that "Incredibles 2" comes out next week, and she says "Won't You Be My Neighbor,"on children's TV host Fred Rogers, is one of the best documentaries ever made.

John Mark Dempsey is the host of the public interest program The Blacklands Café from KETR News. Dempsey is also the play-by-play announcer for Commerce Tigers Football on 88.9 FM and on ketr.org.
