- Coming up in less than an hour in Greenville, the city is hosting a public committee meeting on the municipal government’s Comprehensive Plan. The meeting is open to the public. It’s scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. at the Fletcher Warren Civic Center.
- Many school districts across Northeast Texas have canceled classes until next Tuesday, after Monday’s Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday. The schedule changes are in response to the current surge in COVID-19 cases. Other schools remain on their normal schedules. In Commerce, the Commerce ISD remains on its normal schedule. Anyone with questions as to the status of their local school district’s schedules and polices should contact the district directly.
