9 injured in Quinlan school bus crash

Quinlan ISD

Two adults and seven Thompson Middle School students were taken to Hunt Regional Medical center in Greenville for "non-life-threatening" injuries following a school bus crash this morning in Quinlan, according to local police.

The accident happened on FM 751 near the intersection with FM 429, officials said. A Quinlan ISD school bus collided with another vehicle, both of which were traveling on FM 751, police said.

Those students not taken to the hospital were either released to parents or taken to an alternate bus to Thompson Middle School after being checked on-scene by medical personnel, according to a police statement. The two adults taken to the hospital were the bus driver and the driver of the passenger vehicle, police said. Officials said the crash is under investigation.
