Tyler native Adam Carroll established himself over 8 records as a unique songwriter, garnering the attention of fellow artists such as Slaid Cleaves and Hayes Carll. Adam's wife, Canadian Chris Carroll is still getting used to the hot Texas weather, but she is blazing with her debut album "Trouble and Time."

Chris and Adam found time in their booked schedules to get up to date with Notably Texan, and they are both set to play locally on Saturday, July 25th at Crossroads Music Company and Listening Room in Sulphur Springs.

Details on their area show are available through Crossroads Music Company.

Notably Texan is heard weekdays from Noon-3pm on KETR.

Born in Dallas, Texas, Matt moved to the Sulphur Springs area in 1990 and settled in Commerce shortly thereafter. Having dreamed of working in radio since childhood, he began working at KETR while taking Radio-Television courses at Texas A&M University-Commerce in 1993. Matt has transitioned from a part-time worker and pupil of KETR, to the station’s Chief Announcer/Producer and supervisor of student broadcasters. A familiar voice of 88-9 KETR, Matt has hosted such shows as The Late Nite Lion, and can currently be heard as host of Notably Texan.
