Birthday party planned for Moore

Friends, relatives and supporters are gathering Saturday night to honor Alicia Moore on what would have been her 17th birthday.

The "Alicia Moore Memorial Block Party" is set to begin at 6 p.m. in the 1900 block of Gibbons Street in Greenville. It will feature food, music, dancing and more.

Moore's murder case has yet to have any new information. The Greenville Herald Banner reports that a $25,000 reward is being offered for any information leading to an arrest.

Moore, 16 of Greenville, was last seen on November 2nd getting off of her school bus near her home. Her body was found four days later along FM 47 in Van Zandt County.

Daniel was born and raised in Commerce, TX, and has been a life-long listener of 88.9 KETR. After listening to ‘The Art of Sound’ with Mark Chapman as a child, he enjoyed the thought of being able to broadcast across NE Texas.
