Hunt County has joined Franklin and Kaufman Counties in banning most outdoor fires.
A ban on outdoor burning was enacted for Hunt County Monday morning.
Hunt County Fire Marshal Richard Hill said the ban is in effect until it can be further considered by the Hunt County Commissioners Court.
In the KETR service area, Franklin and Kaufman Counties also have bans in effect.
Other Northeast Texas counties with burn bans include Camp, Ellis, Gregg, Harrison, Marion and Upshur.
