Tickets are on sale for the upcoming combined installation banquet of the Chamber of Commerce and Board of Development. Those attending the event on January 17 will be the first to learn who will be named as Greenville’s next Worthy Citizen, they will also have an opportunity to hear from an inspiring local resident and author.
It will be the 92nd annual event for the Chamber and the 16th joint meeting of the two agencies.
The celebration begins with a reception at 6 p.m. followed by the dinner at 7 p.m. at the Fletcher Warren Civic Center.
This year’s guest speaker will be Dr. Mary Jane Vance, whose book, “Mary of the Angels” was recently published.
The banquet will include the naming of Greenville’s Worthy Citizen, plus the installation of the Chamber of Commerce Board and the Board of Development.
