Dick Latson, a member of the Commerce Community Cares board of directors, says the local charitable organization has achieved 75 percent of its $27,500 goal for this year. Box 1321, Commerce, 75429 or made online at Commercecommunitycares.org, among other ways. One of the organizations that benefits from Commerce Community Cares is the Commerce Public Library.
