A white Christmas has resulted in potentially dangerous roadways in Northeast Texas, which can prompt delays and closures for many organizations and services who might normally be open for business. We'll post the latest here.
The City of Commerce will be closed Wednesday, Dec. 26th. An alert included the following information:
The City of Commerce offices will be closed on Wednesday December 26, 2012 due to winter weather. At this time city offices plan to reopen at their normal time on Thursday December 27, 2012. All emergency services; police, fire and EMS will still be available by contacting the Commerce Police Department at 903-886-1139 or by calling 911.
The City of Greenville offices will open at Noon on Wednesday, December 26th, according to City Manager Stephen Alexander.
Gayle Gordon with the Commerce Public Library indicates that it will be closed on Wednesday.
Meals on Wheels deliveries in Fannin Co. are cancelled.
Wee Wisdom Preschool in Greenville will start at 9am.
Cosmetology Career Institute Greenville is Closed Wednesday.
