Progress is a sign of the times for 2017. In Delta County many new businesses are starting to appear.

“The Delta County Economic Development Corporation is excited about the new year and opportunities to grow,” said Delta County EDC Chairman Dustin Hunter. “We welcome our new businesses that chose to invest in Delta County. New business is great for our small growing community. It gives the citizens of Delta County more opportunities to live, work and shop local.”

Tejano’s Tex-Mex will opened its doors last week. They are located on the South Side of the Square in Cooper in the former Jalapeno’s location. Owner Eric Molina has been busy restocking the restaurant with food and supplies.

“If you like the Molina’s in Commerce, you will like our food,” said Erik Molina. “That is my uncle who runs that restaurant.”

Molina has a wide selection of menu items from Tex-Mex Nachos or Cooper Quesdillas to Mr. Molina Dinner which includes two chicken enchiladas covered with spicy queso served with rice and avocado salad, fajitas for two, to Acapulco Tilapia among the seafood menu.
