Delta Hope House passed its annual audit from the North Texas Food Bank.
The Delta Hope House Operations Director is Laura Gillean, Distribution Director is Ethel Nethery, and Treasurer is Patricia Smith.
In a press release the organization attributed this success to a yearlong effort by these ladies and many more volunteers who contribute their time and efforts in making the food pantry possible.
There was also appreciation extended to Delta County Sheriff Ricky Smith and his staff for providing inmate work crew help - mopping, sweeping, buffing and waxing the floors. Cooper ISD generously donated the use of a floor buffer to make that job a bit easier.
Donations make it possible for the Delta Hope House to provide much needed food assistance to our neighbors.
