COMMERCE - Former NBC News anchor and public relations and communications professional Noah Nelson will speak at this weekend’s undergraduate ceremonies at Texas A&M University-Commerce.
Nelson is a 1973 graduate of East Texas State University.
During his 13 years with NBC, Nelson covered stories like the 1992 presidential campaigns, the El Salvador Civic War and the Guantanamo Bay detention center. Nelson is a native of Dallas and currently resides in Los Angeles.
The undergraduate ceremony for the College of Humanities, Social Sciences and Arts begins at 8:30 a.m. Saturday from the Field House. The College of Education and Human Services will hold their undergraduate ceremony at 11:30 a.m., and the graduate school class is scheduled for 3 p.m.
