Five Hunt County 4-H Clubs Are Inviting New Members

4-H

Hunt County Agrilife Extension Agent Sarah Latham says the five 4-H Clubs in the county are conducting a membership campaign through October.  Clubs are located in Commerce, Caddo Mills, Greenville, Lone Oak and Wolfe City.  The clubs are for school children in third grade through high school.  A Clover Kids program for children under third grade is in Wolfe City.  Sarah says 4-H still includes agricultural activities, but has expanded into many other areas, such as robotics, photography and shooting sports, such as archery.

John Mark Dempsey is the host of the public interest program The Blacklands Café from KETR News. Dempsey is also the play-by-play announcer for Commerce Tigers Football on 88.9 FM and on ketr.org.
