Gillean Creates New Resource Center

Opening day set for Friday, May 19 for the 2nd Beginnings Resource Center in Cooper, Texas.

Laura Gillean of the Delta Hope House and Cooper Community Support has just announced her newest endeavor – 2nd Beginnings Resource Center. The 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation formed to help with educational and the well-being of the community growth of Delta County residents.

The Center will be located at 410 SE 4th St., Cooper, Texas 75432.

Under the umbrella of the 2nd Beginnings Resource Center will be the offices of other programs: Shoes for Delta Kidz, Distribution of needed clothing and household items (to qualifying clients), Narcotics Anonymous, and Advocate of a Satellite site for Grant funded Community Services of Northeast Texas.

“We are currently in the process of bringing other programs to Delta County to help those in need,” said Laura Gillean in her report.

The current store hours will be Thursday thru Saturday 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
