Grayson is the latest county in Texas to join a statewide class action lawsuit against the makers of opioid drugs.
The County Commissioners opted Tuesday night to join the suit. They say drugmakers presented opioids to the public as having no downsides.
Sherman’s NBC affiliate station reported that county services are stressed from dealing with the fallout of opioid addiction. The commission is expected to select the county’s lawyers in the case next Tuesday.
