Greenville ISD, Raffa Offer 'Capable Kids' Course

Frances Dalbey, director of the Hunt County United Way, discusses a program being offered to parents by the Greenville ISD and the Raffa Clinic called "Capable Kids," that will "help build stronger families by giving you the confidence, tools, and skills you need to raise healthy, caring, and responsible children." It's offered beginning at 6 p.m., Monday, October 1 and continues thru Monday, November 12 at the Houston Education Center, 3923 Henry St. in Greenville.  Also, United Way is involved with free child car-seat checks provided by the Texas Department of Transportation at the Greenville Boys and Girls Club from 9 a.m.-12 noon Friday and at the Cash Volunteer Fire Department from 9 p.m. Saturday.
