GREENVILLE - The Monty Stratton Parkway will connect Interstate 30 to the campuses of Greenville High School and Paris Junior College.
The City Council is scheduled to vote on the issue Tuesday. Two years ago, they voted to sell bonds to pay for the parkway.
It is expected to two concrete lanes with raised median and open ditches on either side between the interstate and Lions Lair Road. The new roadway could be completed by the end of the year.
