The City of Greenville is scheduled to begin spraying for mosquitoes in the Ridgecrest area Wednesday evening and will continue spraying Thursday and Friday, weather permitting. A release from the city on Tuesday said that mosquitoes in the area had tested positive for the West Nile virus.
Trucks will spray a one-mile-radius area in west central Greenville, including areas within about a half-mile of the Hunt Regional Medical Center. Residents are advised to avoid the trucks and bring animals inside, if possible.
