Historical markers to be dedicated for Mary Jim Morris, Gen. Claire Chennault

Carol Taylor, the chairman of the Hunt County Historical Commission, says state historical markers will be dedicated in at the New Hope Baptist Church in Greenville on Sunday, October 11 for African-American education pioneer Mary Jim Morris, the first woman to become a school principal in Greenville.  And on Wednesday, October 14, a new marker in two Chinese dialects will be dedicated at the birthplace of Flying Tigers leader Gen. Claire Chennault on Monroe Street in Commerce.
