Hunt County – A $24 million Hunt Memorial Hospital District expansion bond was approved by voters over the weekend. Over 1500 people voted early for the Presbyterian of Greenville West Wing expansion that will include an expanded ICU and Cancer Center among other improvements. An original version of the bond that included a Wellness Center was defeated by voters in January, and hospital officials were pleased to see the adjusted proposal pass this time around, and project completion of the expansion within the next 2 years.
