Frances Dalbey, the executive director of the Hunt County United Way, says the charitable organization Hunt County Kids is taking applications from families for providing help with Christmas gifts for children. The deadline to apply is December 3, and the gifts will be distributed on December 17. Frances estimates between 300-400 children received Christmas gifts via Hunt County Kids last year.
