Dr. LaVelle Hendricks, associate professor of counseling, at Texas A&M University-Commerce discusses the problem of bullying. Dr. Hendicks says bullying is not limited to school-age children, but exists on college campuses and the workplace. The A&M-Commerce Counseling Center offers help for bullying. The program recently hosted a conference on bullying in honor of former faculty member Dr. Richard Lampe.
Derek Price with Hunt County Public Art says the organization has selected several locations for projects in 2016, and is now inviting artists to submit proposals for the locations. The deadline to submit a proposal is November 20.
Texas A&M University-Commerce Alumni Relations director Derryle Peace discusses plans for Homecoming 2015. The student-selected theme is "Let the Games Begin," with vintage board games and video games being played on campus. A parade is scheduled for 10:15 a.m. Saturday morning, with the homecoming football game at 3 p.m. against Midwestern State.
