Officials in Grayson County say a pair of friendly buzzards are responsible for starting a five acre ground fire in Sherman Tuesday night.
County Fire Marshal Andy Brazie told the city’s Fox affiliate that the birds were “interacting” on a power line. Their interaction seems to have caused a quite literal spark that started the fire.
Five fire departments from around the county got the blaze doused in about two hours.
The love birds, sadly, didn’t make it out alive.
