SERIES SCORE
The Lions have not fared well versus the Lady Reddies. Henderson State holds a 6-2 record over A&M-Commerce all-time. The last win for the Lions versus the Reddies was back in the 2004-05 season by one point. A&M-Commerce has never beaten the Tigers of Ouachita Baptist, posting a 0-8 record all-time. In fact only one game of the series has been decided by less than 10 points.

SCOUTING THE LADY REDDIES
Henderson State are winners of their last three games. The offense has been consistent with 67, 68 and 69 in those three wins. Last time out the Reddies got past Arkansas-Monticello in Arkadelphia, Arkansas (67-60). Aungelique Sledge leads the Reddie offense with a 19.4 average, which puts her 38th in the country. Krystal Beachum and Tiara Davis also average double figures for Henderson State.

STILL LOOKING FOR FIRST W
A&M-Commerce have dropped the first six games of the 2013-14 season and are losers of seven straight dating back to last season. The longest stretch to start a season winless for the Lions under Nicole Anderson is 0-7 to start the 2010-11 season.

LIONS VERSUS GAC SCHOOLS
Currently the Lions are 36-83 versus schools whom currently make-up the Great American Conference. That record produces a winning percent of .303. Every team in the league currently holds a winning record over A&M-Commerce besides Southern Nazarene because them and the Lions have never met on the court.

LIONS VERSUS SCHOOLS FROM ARKANSAS
Against teams from the state of Arkansas the Lions are 14-37 all-time versus teams that hail from Arkansas. The Lions do not own a winning record against any of those schools.

DIXON AND HARRIS AMONG GREATS
Seniors, Danielle Dixon and Breanna Harris have chances to become the ninth and 10th players in program history to reach the 1,000 points in a Lion uniform. Dixon needs 72 points to reach 1,000 and Harris needs 159 to reach that milestone.

HARRIS CONTINUES TO GRAB DOUBLE-DOUBLES
Harris continues to put up great production despite the results on the scoreboard. Harris is averaging 18.8 points and 12.3 rebounds in six games so far. Harris has recorded double-doubles in four of six games.

THIS CLOSE...
In the loss to Abilene Christian, junior, Devin Oliver was just one point away from tying a career high with 18 points and shot over 50% from the field.

NOT MUCH RESISTANCE
The Lions have not been playing much in their seven-game losing streak. The defense has been allowing 85.1 ppg and getting outscored by 16.1 per contest.

WHERE'S THE HOME-COOKING?
The Lions have only played one home game, two-point loss to A&M-International, and have lost all four games on the road and one neutral court loss. A&M-Commerce only plays three home games in their non-conference slate.

NEW SEASON SAME PROBLEM
The Lions have struggled from the free-throw line (54.2%) like last season. Symone Brown leads the team in free throw shooting with a 71.4% clip.

SHOOTING…AND…MISSING
The Lions have also struggled from behind the three-point line so far this season. Currently, A&M-C is shooting 23% from downtown and ranks near the bottom of the LSC and all of Division II

Head Coach Nicole Anderson
Anderson enters her fifth season at the helm of the A&M-Commerce Lions women's basketball program. Expectations have been raised for Anderson and the Lions after last season's nine win improvement from 2011-12. The turn around also earned Anderon Co-Coach of the Year for the Lone Star Conference a season ago.
