COMMERCE - 13 Commerce Tigers were honored as part of 10 3A All-District Selections, recently announced.
Individual accolades went to junior defensive lineman Cortez Crosby, sophomore quarterback Sam Wells and junior Buck Wilson. Crosby was named Defensive Line MVP, Wells the Offensive Newcomer of The Year and Wilson the Utility Player of The Year.
1stTeam District selections went to running back Gabe Connor and receiver T.J. Pannell; while wide receiver Spenser Jean Louis, tackle Rod Jackson and kicker Manuel Rendon earned 2ndTeam honors.
On the defensive side, tackle John McKenna, end Caleb Whitley, inside linebacker Gabe Connor and corner Jamal Harrison were named to the First Team. Second Team Defensive players include outside linebacker Daryian Jubbard, corner T.J. Pannell and safety Dominique Wilson.
