New NE Texas Children's Museum Will Include Seven Acres Of Outdoor Space

Sharline Freeman, director of the Northeast Texas Children's Museum in Commerce, says the museum's new building on Highway 11 in east Commerce will be surrounded by seven acres of land that will be available for outdoor activities.  The museum hopes to move into the new building, most recently occupied by Polara Industries, in the fall.  Events coming up at the Children's Museum include Freda Mae's Bridge Day on Monday, April 8; an Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 13; and a Silent Auction on Monday, April 29.
