Officials hope to move to new facility next month

SULPHUR SPRINGS - The Sulphur Springs ISD board should learn more at Monday's meeting about the progress of their new Middle School.

Crews broke ground on the new facility last summer. Originally it was hoped that classroom materials and equipment would be moved to the new site during the Christmas break, which begins Dec. 18.

The more than 160,000 square foot school located along Highway 11 south of the city is part of a $48.4 million bond approved by voters in 2009.
