Old/New Foes For Commerce In UIL Realignment; Norris '64 State Champs To Be Honored Friday Night

Charlie Alderman, Commerce ISD superintendent, says Commerce's new UIL 3-A, Division 1 football district for 2020-21 will include Pottsboro, Bonham, Howe and Rains from the previous district, and Mineola, Mount Vernon and Winnsboro, which have been aligned with Commerce in the past.  The basketballand volleyball districts are also seeing some changes.  The pre-desegregation Norris High School state basketball champions of 1964 will be honored between games of the girls and boys varsity basketball games vs. Prairiland Friday night in the Commerce High School gym.
