Park Puts It Into High Gear on 'Blue Roof Sessions' Record

Austin county singer and producer Kyle Park continues to garner new fans with his own take on the genre. With several years in the business, and multiple albums behind him, Kyle has branched out a bit with some harder rocking sounds on his latest release.

Kyle took time to call in to Notably Texan to discuss all aspects of his music career, his willingness to set himself apart from the country music norm, and his busy tour schedule. Also included are examples of songs from his 2015 record.

Born in Dallas, Texas, Matt moved to the Sulphur Springs area in 1990 and settled in Commerce shortly thereafter. Having dreamed of working in radio since childhood, he began working at KETR while taking Radio-Television courses at Texas A&M University-Commerce in 1993. Matt has transitioned from a part-time worker and pupil of KETR, to the station’s Chief Announcer/Producer and supervisor of student broadcasters.
