The Texas Medical Board Monday deemed Kurt Pflieger unfit to practice.

A Rockwall County pediatrician has had his medical license indefinitely suspended allegedly throwing a child against a wall and other alleged erratic behavior.

The Dallas Morning News reported that Kurt Pflieger of Rockwall Pediatrics stands accused of mistakenly issuing prescriptions and acting inappropriately with patients and colleagues.

In its decision to suspend, the Texas Medical Board wrote Monday that Pflieger has an impairment that hinders him from practicing properly. The Board wrote that Pflieger continuing to practice medicine "poses a continuing threat to public welfare."
