Anthony Lewis, a former Hunt County constable suspected in a fatal shooting in Rockwall, was shot by law enforcement near Greenville.
UPDATE 2:50 PM - According to the Greenville Herald Banner, Anthony Lewis remains hospitalized, said Sgt. Aaron McGrew.
"The shooter is still alive, listed in critical condition at Parkland, and underwent surgery this morning for his wounds," McGrew said.
Jessica Aguilar, 33, of Rockwall was identified as the woman who was shot and killed. Francisco Delacruz was identified as the second gun shot victim. He is in stable condition at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas and is expected to survive his wounds.
Lewis has been charged with murder and attempted murder with 1.5 million dollars bond.
"He will be under guard until he is released from Parkland and then will be transferred to Rockwall County Detention Center," McGrew said.

Anthony Lewis, a former Hunt County constable suspected in a fatal shooting in Rockwall, has himself been shot by law enforcement after a chase led to the Greenville area.
Rockwall police said they have identified the man wounded by officers as Anthony Dewayne Lewis, 47.
Lewis, suspected of shooting two people in a Rockwall parking lot around 7:53 p.m. Saturday, led police on a chase Saturday night from Rockwall to Greenville. Lewis was shot by law enforcement along the Interstate 30 service road just west of the Monty Stratton overpass.
The Rockwall victims, a man and a woman, were both shot multiple times in a parking lot at The Harbor Rockwall, a popular entertainment center along Lake Ray Hubbard, in the 2000 block of Summer Lee Dr., officials said. The woman died from her wounds, police said. The man's condition is not known, though he is reported to be alive. Rockwall police identified the woman as Lewis' ex-girlfriend.
Garland police saw Lewis around 8:22 p.m. and began pursuit. Lewis fled in a car eastbound on I-30.
Lewis' run from police ended when tire spikes disabled his car along an eastbound I-30 service road just west of Greenville in Hunt County. His car had also rammed a Department of Public Safety vehicle, police said.
Lewis then exited his car and pointed a handgun at officers, police said. Lewis was shot and no law enforcement personnel were hurt, according to reports.
Lewis had served as Constable for Hunt County Precinct 2, but was defeated in the May 2012 Republican primary.
The shooting in Rockwall is being investigated by Rockwall police. The Texas Rangers are investigating the officer-involved shooting near Greenville.
