Second arrest made in Greenville murder

By Kevin Jefferies

Campbell – A Campbell man has been taken into custody in connection with the shooting death of a Greenville teen in June. 18 year old Ryan Troy Ramsey was taken into custody late last week from his home on one count of murder and on one count of aggravated kidnapping that police say is unrelated to the murder.

Ramsey is the second person arrested in the death of Joseph Willis. Willis was found dead in his vehicle June 25th. He had been shot once in the head. Police believe the shot came from another vehicle.

The other suspect under arrest in the case is a 16 year old male, and his identity has not been released. Police say the juvenile is suspected of actually firing the shot that killed Willis and Ramsey is suspected of being the driver when the killing occurred.
