It may be sunny now, but the National Weather Service is forecasting storms Thursday evening for Northeast Texas.
A line of thunderstorms has formed Northwest of the Metroplex and stretches all the way to Maine. This line of thunderstorms has already caused damage for parts of Ohio and New York, and has prompted a few tornado warnings.
As for Northeast Texas, storms should start popping up late this evening. Some storms could briefly be severe causing hail and strong winds, but no tornado threat is expected at this time.
As always, KETR will be right here giving you up-to-date weather information.
Stay safe!
