Strong thunderstorms possible Thursday

April is fulfilling its stereotype as the stormy month as it moves onto our calendars with gale force!

Severe weather is expected to make its way to Northeast Texas during the mid afternoon hours on Thursday, some areas could see damaging high winds, large hail and even isolated tornadoes.

The Storm Prediction Center in Norman, Okla., has placed Northeast Texas under a "slight" risk for severe weather on April 3. Areas to the northeast near Texarkana could see stronger storms.
