By Scott Harvey

Campbell – A Texas A&M University-Commerce student was killed Thursday night and a local resident hospitalized following a one vehicle wreck along Highway 24/50 near Campbell.

19-year-old Malorie Elise Bullock, of Sherman, was identified as the deceased individual.

She was reportedly riding on the back of a motorcycle traveling northbound when the driver, 19-year-old Tanner Bryant Burnett, of Commerce, failed to negotiate a curve. According to State Troopers, the bike then entered the center ditch and struck a road sign. The motorcycle was reportedly traveling at an unsafe speed.

Both Bullock and Burnett were said to be wearing helmets.

Burnett suffered broken bones and was listed in serious condition at Parkland Hospital in Dallas.
